MC: Felicity Forrest and Niall O’Leary
Author’s note to reader: “this novella is part one of series/serial romance. It’s not standalone. This book is for those who are 18+. It contains explicit language, sexual acts and cliffhanger”. Like, talk about business on a summary, am I right? Ain’t gonna lie, when I read “volume one” I was like, “yay, full story. Long story”. But no, that was a fantasy. I did however, turned the pages like I was going to read twenty-some chapters, instead, when things started to get real interesting it ended abruptly. It killed the vibe, dudes!
Felicity is a journalist, she writes a blog on the supernatural — it’s hoaxes most of the time, but apparently, it allows her to travel plenty, and she enjoys it. A new assignment takes her (and her BFF) to a corner of the world of púcas (apparently horse, goat shifters), there’s some photographic evidence at worst, but she’s open minded and skeptic at the same time.
Niall is a púca, and has his own assignment/journalistic investigation to sniff out. Niall might end up sniffing a possible mate out of our paranormal journalist.
This whole book takes place on either a pub or the street. I either didn’t notice their age — or whatever, but these two characters acted like teenagers who couldn’t communicate much when faced with an actual real life event, instead of drinks at a bar with other people around. They sucked when alone. Spoiler alert? Felicity finds out púcas are real, Niall is one of them, she’s interested, but oh… he’s too, but they end up separate ways, and the book ended.
It had a warning about cliffhangers, but dude, I wasn’t expecting such a short shorty.
Next!
