Arthur P. Bedou (1882 - 1966), "Photographer in a crowd", ca 1910.
Bedou, a New Orleans native, was the official photographer for Xavier University. He is famous for his portraits of jazz musicians and for the images he captured of Booker T. Washington while working as the educator's traveling photographer.
