Dear Charlie,
Hi, Charlie. This is my first time writing to you. I’m hoping it helps but we will see won’t we? Ok. So. This summer my boyfriend, of 4 months, broke up with me. He said that he needs to enjoy his youth and that I was holding him back. He said that he felt like I liked him more then he liked me. We agreed on being friends but he has been ignoring me lately. Today he blocked me on snap chat and it hurt. Not to mention I’ve been trying to get over him. Its hard though, Charlie. I guess I’ve been trying to distract myself by looking at other people. Like today I asked two people to homecoming and they both rejected me. I’m afraid to ask this girl out though because I’m not sure if she likes girls and I don’t want to lower myself esteem even more then it already is. She’s really pretty, charlie, her laugh is so beautiful and she looks so smart and her smile puts a smile on my face. I just don’t want to get hurt because she will be the first girl I’ve asked out.
