Harry Potter-verse RW&RB AU.
so, I think I am going to try my hand at a RW&RB fic. This idea is like screaming at me right now. Whenever I want to dabble in writing fic for something, I usually start with some kind of Hogwarts/Harry Potter universe AU because that is where my comfort is. Because I have been RPing HP based characters and shenanigans for over ten years that there is just a comfort in it, it is easier for me to insert other characters I love into that world.
So, I don’t know when I’ll start this as I wanna finish my current zimbits wip first and then start working on it. Plus, the aforementioned HP RP means I have threads I need to reply to as well but... like I am excited and here is the rough idea that I have for it.
Henry is the grandson of the current Minister of Magic. There will be references and heartache associated with Lord Voldemort and Henry’s past. I will have to tweak timelines a bit but that is finneee. He’s definitely a Hufflepuff, but the hat stalled and was debating another house for him.
Alex is the son of the President of MACUSA. He attends Ilvermorny. I’ll likely heavily borrow from the headcanons and things me and my fellow RPers have incorporated for our Ilvermorny.
They will both be 7th years and are also going to be the first students to partake in an exchange program of sorts. Alex will spend the first half of the year at Hogwarts and the second half of year Henry will be joining him at Ilvermorny.
Enemies to friends to lovers in between. I dunno. I am hoping by vaguely babbling about it that I will actually write it. But I am also absolutely terrified, like always, about dipping my toes into writing fic.
