“You know I’ll still love you even if you suck”, Harry laughed. Since they were both drunk enough to make silly jokes. “Jesus”, Louis laughed, with a hint of a blush. “What do you mean, ‘even’?” “’Even’?” Harry frowned. “Forget it”, Louis said and started the song. Harry went “OH?!” just as the first notes played, and it hit him that possibly Louis had tried to make some kind of weird innuendo about “sucking”, but then Louis started singing, and he was brilliant.

Harry moved to London hoping to break into the music industry, but a confusing job lands him in legal trouble. He turns to a radical workers union for help. There he meets Louis, who keeps his singing and songwriting talent a secret from most people. And maybe that’s not his only secret?

The title is from Harry's leaked song Already Home. I started writing this fic almost a year ago, and I'm kind of surprised and so glad the title hasn't been used by anyone else yet, at least on AO3 :3
