Prompt #05: The Witch of the Woods

Here is the 5th Prompt: The Witch of the woods, it has been a while. But since of the Quarantine, I got time to spare.

Reposting comment: This one is a bit of a fun one, I tried something with the night sky but the paper couldn't handle the stress of being watered down over and over. But it did add some nice textures. Yet the trees indeed suck, it was a nice way to do during the first few days of quarantine.

Prompt #04: Cavalry

I lost the paper but here is the 4th Prompt: Cavalry, as you can see I failed the horse part sksksks

Reposting comments: So, yes, this is bad. Haha, I was too gungho with the pearlescent and I am not good enough with blending with the watercolor. Of course, the background also seeped in the border and now there is that faint blue line.

Prompt 03: A Tarot-like card featuring "The Champion of Philosophy."

Ahh almost forgot to post the actual prompt this time Here is the 4th prompt: A Tarot-like card featuring the Champion of Philosophy.

Reposting comment: His shoulder pads is a tad bit bright? Haha I enjoyed those pearlescent watercolor a lot. Shame most of them are used up, especially the gold. This was my first tarot on this prompt and I must admit I improved on it a lot.

Prompt 02: A Fantasy light source

Here is the second prompt: A Fantasy Light Source. It was hard to make a light source emanate the actual "light". But the concept is there. This time I added lore on how I designed this prompt:

Crystallize Lamps 

“These Crystal Lamps are powered by a specific type of enchantment of light magic. A concept made by the collaboration of a druid of the Evergreen Council and a high priest of the Order of the Eons, these lamps helped numerous adventurers that ventured the great forest and other danger ridden paths. There were rumours that the light is enchanted by a spell warding off monsters and luck-based curses. Although that is yet to be confirmed from both Sects. Regardless, it has been a valuable asset for both parties and is seen as a symbol of unity. 

The lamp consists of three parts: the vines, crystals, and the centre ring.  The vines and crystals are manually planted in different paths of the forest and it takes an hour for a lamp to be set. The central ring automatically forms around the vines, acting like an overgrown limiter for the vines. The light emanating from the crystal is bright enough to emulate daylight, and lasts 12 hours. Once the 12 hours are over, they need to be powered again by sunlight.”

This has been the only prompt where I did some lore writing for this one, perhaps I should add some on my reposting? But overall I just say the process of the design.

Prompt #01: How you feel when you feel loved.

And so it begins: A first step and giant leap hahaha.

For 2020, I want to sharpen my craft and here I challenge myself to draw a hundred prompts for the rest of 2020. Hope I finish this like inktober 1st prompt is: "How you feel when you feel loved."

Here is a more formal reposting, ideally the border is a bit too wide. Don't worry that's just how it is for the first few prompts but I wish I shortened it a bit sooner.
