***At West Shelter*** Senior at Shelter 2 Months 💔 #A3898149 "Faza" Intake 6/24 Now ADOPTABLE! ~Came in as Owner Surrender~ ➡️$35 in Rescue Pledges⬅️ Such a HANDSOME Senior Guy! 😍 This shy guy came in as an Owner stating with notes indicating he was good with female dogs & small dogs, but not with male dogs similar to his size. Additional Surrender notes indicate he is housebroken, has obedience training & is good with kids ages baby to 3 years old. Faza is listed as a 10 year old German Shepherd, now neutered & microchipped, & about 78lbs. He was sound asleep when I approached his kennel but he popped up quickly as got to the front of the kennel! He seemed appreciative to have some yummy snacks, which he took gently. He does have medical notes he may have a hearing deficit or be deaf, has worn teeth & also a hematoma on his left ear that is being treated. His evaluation notes indicate he entered the yard quickly and was stiff and invasive while greeting. He would not settle so was moved to a solo yard. His most recent evaluation, 8/8, stated he walked well with some pulling to the yard but when entering the catch pen he became reactive & could not enter the yard. As always introductions at the Shelter with current doggie family members are highly recommended as long as your doggie family members are current on their vaccinations! This Senior guy must be confused in his new surroundings & would really LOVE to get out of the Shelter very soon with a committed forever family, so PLEASE Share him in hopes this family sees him soon!
