Hey im in 11grade and taking my finals next year for a head start bc ive not been studying lol but im just wondering if for studying is it ideal to use an a5/a4 book? Im not sure but i seem everyone using an a5 one which looks cool but idk helpp n also do you have any tips to write cursive? Thankyou:) n hope you get into the uni you want<3 x
The notebooks that I prefer are closest to an A4 size paper. I use Five Star coil notebooks because I like that the paper is really good quality, the covers are made of hard plastic so they last a long time, and they have folders inside that are really well reinforced. I like the size of that paper because its just what I’m used to!
I have never used any other size paper, so I’m not sure how the other sizes would work out. One thing that I can say is that the smaller the paper, the less I like it. I find that its easier to take notes and study when you can fit more on one page, and I also find that it is easier to write in a larger notebook than a small one because you can get closer to the edges.
Another thing to consider is the type of notebook it is… I have found that a lot of A5 notebooks are more decorative and have a binding rather than a coil, which I personally find annoying. But overall, I don’t think you could go wrong with either size as long as you like it!
And as for writing in cursive… I don’t really know! My cursive is basically just printing with more loops on it and the only time I was actually taught was when I was in elementary school. If you google “writing cursive” there are a lot of good links to practise and get good resources from! Also, I’m not sure where you’re from, but if one of your teachers told you that “in 12th grade/college you will have to write everything in cursive”, they are probably lying… its really not that big of a deal!
