Summary: How Laughing Jack will be to you as his adopted daughter/son!

First off, he's a child murderer. He usually targets children and kills or make their lives worse.
Or even torments the child's family for funsies
For you, Lj finds it a little hard for him to not kill you for the funsies but he slowly gets used to it.
After months of being or bonding together as daughter/son and father bonding, he eventually values you.
Yes he protects you. He sees that with all the bonding with you, he sees you as someone with value and deserves to live.
He WILL raise you differently from others.
He'll teach you how to kill others and convince you it's defense, he'll teach you how to butcher people, etc.
He himself is a demonic entity so you can't expect him to give much affection when all he does for a living is kill people and trick people for fun.
Though he's wrong in the mind when it comes to murder, he highkey still values your innocence. (Not in a weird way :/)
So what he does to protect you is keep you off the wrong tracks and tells you to not be a little too much like him.
When you cry, he either does two things, ask who made you cry or give you candy.
He doesn't comfort. He usually tries to brighten up the mood with tricks and stuff.
The one thing he's very agaisnt is you dying. It proves that his goal that is to spread all the 'fun' (killing) to all the children in the world and drive parents insane went agaisnt him.
Yes he's a demonic entity but he convinces you and himself that you aren't dead yet because he sees potential when you know you could've been dead the first day he adopted you.
Being the demonic clown he is, he'll teach his ways.
He'll teach you how to manipulate people, trick people, or even manipulate you into doing things.
Even though he keeps you alive, pissing him off won't be a very great reccomendation.
Being alive doesn't make you immortal.
He's like Art the Clown. He doesn't process emotions the way humans do so you can't expect him to feel genuine happy.
His genuine happiness is mockery.
He won't hide his true self from you. He feeds off fear and takes pleasure in killing and torturing.
But even with all that, he'll still protect you and guide you with his own understanding of success.
In short, you'll live. But very differently.
Reminder he's a demonic clown entity figure of pure evilness, remoseless, and violent to the very core.
He'll keep you safe but he can't guarantee you'll live for long and handle him for long.
If he finds you're like him, oh how proud he'd be for you.
Since he's pure evil, he'll praise your violence and says you've learned from him.
Beware though, you don't know if his candy are 100% safe.
