Odessa has some hair loss due to a prior flea allergy issue, a small subcutaneous mass on her tail and chronic dry eye. The latter condition requires twice daily treatment in the form of eye drops or gel. Our clinic team has been medicating her, as prescribed, almost every day since impound. She’s pictured here with technicians Lydia, Angel and Ivy. They quickly fell in love with her because of her sweet personality and, unlike most of the other animals they handle, she easily accepts her medication. All these months later and she still sits pretty when it’s time for her eye drops, probably because technician Tomye slips her the occasional hash brown. The clinic team has put together a small care package to be sent home with Odessa when her adoption time comes. Day in and day out we have waited for someone to come forward and express an interest in adopting her, but so far no luck. She is recommended to be the only pet in the household as she doesn’t like other animals. She would thrive in a household with just people, as she loves attention. We’ve advertised her on social media, placed a flyer on her kennel front, added additional information to her web profile. We’re running out of ideas to help this girl be seen so we’re hoping this post can help, so we need you to please share! Anyone interested in adopting is asked to email [email protected] for assistance.
