Jack Frost needs rescue. During his shelter stay, his behavior has been unpredictable. One thing is clear - he doesn’t yet trust. From his timid behavior on intake to his current behaviors which are one of a dog who doesn’t feel safe in the shelter kennels & struggles to trust. The shelter thinks I am about 5 years old. I have been at the shelter since Sep 18, 2020 Shelter notes: 09/22/20 I approach kennel, speaking with easy voice to dog. Dog was tense, I put my hand out for dog to smell but he immediatley charged front of gate & tried to bite. I left dog alone after that. Later in the afternoon I tried to approach him again he reacted the same way except this time I tried to correct him. Dog did back off. Will need some time to become comfortable with new environment & new people. May need more time to gain trust & calm down. Ym 9-19-20 This boy was timid & jumpy during apprehension. He lifted his lip at me during impound, so no vax at the time.
