This Mitsubishi-built A6M2b (manufacturer number 3372) was the first intact Zero captured on November 26, 1941, by Chinese forces. A pair of Zeroes from the Tainan Kokutai got lost in heavy fog and made forced landings on the coast of Leichou Peninsula in southeastern China. Only one was rebuilt. This aircraft was later tested in the US at Wright Field, Ohio, in 1943. (USAAF)
