Midoriya Izuku was told his entire life that he couldn't be a hero because he was Quirkless. Apparently, he wasn't good enough or something, which was just stupid. Even if he did want to become a hero, he would have to do so much unnecessary work, just because no one believed he could do it in the first place.
So, he takes an easier option, and becomes the vigilante Rook, the Corvid Chesspiece. And maybe the informant Moth, too. Hey, he never said nothing vigilante personas were purposeful.
Along with Shinsou Hitoshi as Mockingbird, and Hatsume Mei as Magpie, he's got all the backup he'll need to show the world that he can do it. And if he just so happens to dismantle society's perspective along the way, well, it's their own fault for thinking that way in the first place.
Featuring a few extra vigilantes who will be revealed later on, a mysterious older brother who does as he likes, an exasperated lie detector, and the world's most exhausted Underground Hero who would very much like his idiot problem children to go home, because they are much too short to be in this much danger.
