I love that Bucky and Steve in the MCU are like star crossed lovers, so much angst and some old school trust, and also there’s Bucky who just wants to be free of HYDRA and make amends...
And then you got AA!Bucky’s first appearance, and this bastard basically went “nah, I’m gonna blow up Red Skull and possible a whole city, and I’m also gonna shoot Captain America in the tiddy cause he didn’t save me from Hydra, lol, grudges are fun, whoops, almost killed a train full of people haha, just an edge lord girl boss, peace out hoes check out the sugar glider wings I got cause I’m the Winter motherfuckin’ Solider haha”
The duality, I love both of them 😂
(And before any fellow Sambucky stans asks, so far Sam and Bucky have not really interacted besides a little fighting, and that’s probably for the best cause Sam is 17 in the AA universe in season one when he first meets Bucky, and is also basically one of Cap and Tony’s adopted kids lol)
