Me posting my AN for chapter 183 of Saturation: I don't usually share this stuff, but an unwarranted number of Events have Occurred in my life over the past year and change and which directly effected my ability to and interest in writing this fic, so only fair to let my readers know that I've been a bit busy and overwhelmed. And I'm going to be slow going forward because it was kinda a lot.

Okay, so I was reading ch. 64 of Saturation, written by the fantastic @greentrickster , and Miles starts comparing himself, Trucy and Phoenix to celestial bodies. Phoenix is the sun, Trucy is the moon, and Miles is the stars. So, as I was reading this, my hand slipped and-

I drew that one picture Edgeworth took from @greentrickster’s fic Saturation. I’ve had this image in my head since I read that scene and man it was really fun to draw (such an amazing fic too- absolutely one of my favorites). Also, I didn’t realize when I was reading it but it was said that Miles associates more vibrant colors with positive things, so no wonder he liked this picture so much.

Definitely recommend this fic, one of the best ace attorney fics out there!

Just got low-key accused of copy-pasting Carmen Sandiego (the Netflix version) when I did the Handsome Gentlemen Thieves' basic implications and theorized motives in a comment, which is super irritating because,

I haven't even watched that version of her; as soon as I heard the line, "Especially when the things you're stealing are lives" in the preview I recognized that this was not my beautiful home, this was not my beautiful wife, and I left it alone and did my best to ignore it. Not for me, so not my business.

If anything, the HGT are most influenced by my fondness of Kaito Kid from Detective Conan/Magic Kaito, of which which I've read several volumes of each (as well as a perfectly reasonable amount of fanfiction), and am much more familiar with.

If I had based the HGT on Carmen Sandiego, it would be extremely obvious because they would have stolen the Eiffel Tower by now. Because my respect for Carmen is based on her iconic look, the air of mystery and power surrounding her, and her life choice to steal ridiculous things with absolutely no market value presumably just to prove she can. So if she shows up in this universe, y'all'll know, because I will commit to the bit, b'golly! >:(
