I need to be ASLEEP but I would love to know what happened behind the scenes of this ceremony, because they clearly thought that ending the show with Best Actor would resonate more, which implies at least some of the producers and showrunners intended to award Boseman posthumously. I am very interested to know what happened between that plan and the weird-ass ending we actually got.

Deciding not to make the Best Picture category the big finale of the show for the first time since like 1955 the same year that a film by a woman of color won Best Picture for the first time EVER does not sit well with me, ladies. It does not.
