The episode where Gon goes back to the island and brings Killua with him had me in tears. Something about going back home, and that home being safe. Bringing your first friend with you to your home. Showing them your home, playing outside. Home is safe and we can play here. The world outside is dangerous and the journey ahead too, but now isn’t the time for that. We rest here now, and then we go, and we face that danger together.

daiten    cried    out    as    she    was    kicked    hard,      forced   away   from   the   man   once   he   was   done   and   over   with   stealing   what   was   hers.       the   brunt   force   makes   already   broken   ribs   pressing   inwards,     making   it   harder   to   breathe       /       daiten   lays   on   the   ground,     bruised   and   broken,    with   little   to   any   energy   left   to   protect   or   attack   back,     much   less   to   control   her   quirk.

she    tries    to    stand,      tries   to   push   herself   up   to   get   away,      only   to   collapse   again,      trying   to   get   away   as   the   villain   charged   up   a   blast   big   enough   to   kill        /        feels   the   sting   of   her   tears   slipping   down   her   cheeks,     refusing   to   beg   for   her   life   but   instead   calling   out   for   teqi   in   a   moment   of   pure   fear   of   dying.
