Lady and cat
i wish i could do long distance . . . i could not . . .
@spoiliage asks : can i kiss you? ( for alain and princess <3 ) / accepting !
a small noise of surprise slips past her lips inadvertently at the sudden request, doe eyes widening as they meet his. she had only come closer to pluck an eyelash from his cheek, holding it out in front of him with an insistence that he make a wish before blowing it away. the proximity between them now is no closer than it usually is when they have to share a motel bed and she wakes up so near to him by accident — yet this is the fastest her heart’s ever raced in front of him, practically a gallop in her chest as she dares to take that step even closer. “not that you, like, ever needed to ask,” she murmurs, batting her lashes up at him with a smile. “but … yes. please ?”

(sees storyboards of rose laughing from story for steven)
(melts a little)
i just saw a gifset of rose from story for steven and i think my heart cracked a little
she’s so beautiful ... so wonderful ... i’m not ready
actually, correcting for earlier statement
i'm pretty sure that Pearl has no concept of verbal falsehood (So Many Birthdays, SU comic issue #7)
but she seems (?) to recognize that Steven's anime movie is a fictional scenario (Steven the Sword Fighter, iirc she makes a comment contrasting "real swordfighting") so clearly she understands visual falsehood, at least to the extent of acting/hypothetical scenarios (which makes sense because of her illusion/hologram power)
which is ... a weird and interesting contrast
