I'm making an indie game! It'll be in development for maybe 3 months in total. But Chris Hecker says my game needs to have years of hype behind it! And he's totally right! Gasp!
I need a marketing strategy, and it can't involve waiting 2 years to release my game. So here it is.
I release my game next month, and I'll spread it everywhere, to everyone who'll listen. If I gain any interest, I start phase 2. The game remains in development, and I begin to prototype and tease new ideas, raising interest and relevance for an eventual full paid release.
