honestly i think this character development for dev is really great because it’s going to teach her how to be a better leader and accept things like the fact that not everyone is going to come out of this alive and that maybe someone she really cares about will die and yes, it sucks and its horrible, but those are the things you have to live with when you start a revolution
its always weighed on her that not all of the kids are going to make it and that she wont be there to save them all but i think after this she’ll realize just be creating invicta she HAS saved them, by giving them a second chance and teaching them to survive and live fuller and take their rights
because absolutely it will be a dark day when she has to bury one of her apprentices and it will always be with her and remind her to do better, because even if she can’t be there to stop them from being killed
she taught them to at least go down fighting
