“What do you mean, ‘band of warriors’? Are they hostile?” Her eyes moved toward her guard, giving a nod for them to alert her own forces to prepare for potential battle. She supposed she should have expected this--it was only a matter of time before the war caught up with her, and the strength of her people would be tested, and the strength of their Queen.
