stephanie knew that traveling was risky and generally frowned upon, but well, she’d never exactly been a rule follower. besides, she had business to attend to in wonder city even if she didn’t particularly like wonder city, and that made travel necessary. but she had stayed a little later than usual (she could thank black widow and her training for that), and it was getting darker earlier and earlier every day with the change of seasons. stephanie sighed, wishing she’d thought to bring a flashlight along, but she hadn’t intended for assassin-in-training time to last as long as it had. she was pulled from her thoughts when a rustling sounded behind her, and stephanie paused. fight or flight had always been strong with her, and well, it had only heightened when the goddamn world ended. the click of the safety on the gun sounded quickly, and stephanie slowly turned around. “i’ll have you know i have a shoot first, ask questions later policy.”

I got Up this morning, In my too hot, plugged-up shower this morning, Shampoo in my eyes three times this morning, Outta that bathroom alive this morning. Then I Wrote a check this morning, Did it wrong, wrote “dollars” this morning, Crossed it out, wrote “VOID” this morning, Still managed to pay rent this morning. I had 5 teaspoons of sugar this morning, 2 in coffee, 3 in oats this morning, A vigorous conversation with Helen this morning, Probably too many opinions for a morning.
