“please. it’s alright. the city is safe, none of the fallen will find their way in here.” she offers kindly as she guides people into the city. she can’t even imagine how it must feel, to finally find somewhere safe to hide from the hoards on the surface, but from what she’s seen over the past three years, people often doubt whether or not they’re really safe here. or anywhere, truthfully.
all she can do, though, is offer them as much assurance and security as she can. “if you make your way to the town centre, you’ll be given a place to stay, and some food.” letting out a soft sigh, diana’s smile fades a touch as she watches them leave. “thank you for bringing them here. we’ve tried finding as many survivors as we can, but.. it’s difficult, as you can imagine.”
