doing this mostly for myself~ but let’s recap

especially in terms of self-esteem and self-respect

and i think most of it comes down to the internet and feminism tbh. i know this might sound a little bit silly but in these two/three past years i’ve learnt a lot and one of the focal points of feminism (at least to me) is being able to appreciate myself and i think i got a lot better at that

and this may sound even sillier but i think the jibcon also helped?? for the first time in rl i was in a group of people that sure as hell wasn’t going to mock me for liking a tv show and that made feel pretty rad because it was a good feeling and i decided i wanted to feel that all year so yep

it was the year of lipstick!!! and the whole ‘colour of the blood of my enemies’ is probs cliché by now but it still makes me feel hella strong so i’m sticking to it~

it waaas… the year i stopped liking a guy i’ve been pretty much in love with for three years. and it might sound quite sad but honestly it’s the best decision i could make because one day i just started thinking about it and i realized he believes in everything i go against and i decided my principles were more important than him and that was a pretty big step because a few years ago i would’ve never thought so (case in point: me liking him for so long)

tl;dr basically this year was kinda cool and if i had to picture 2013-myself it would probably be me crushing the patriarchy under my boots while smiling about myself with my blood-coloured lips
