haven't posted a wales in awhile. have this thing that i finally finished after more than a month!

Hot Kalim take but, even though Kalim loves children, I do believe he'd at the very least be hesitant to have some of his own. Considering that Kalim got so upset over Jamil getting poisoned and put into a coma from eating a meal meant for him(so much so that it's one of least favorite foods), I can only imagine what his reaction would be toward the idea of his own child/children being at risk, simply because they are his heir. I doubt Kalim wants anyone to go through the exact thing he had to as a child even though he knew what came with the title of being the heir to Asim. But at the same time, Kalim loves kids. And I bet that even though he would probably think that it's selfish of him to want children of his own, even if it means putting his children through the exact trauma he had to go through, he would still want them regardless. It's probably a struggle for him knowing that even with his vast amount of wealth, his connections, his own magic, won't stop others from wanting to hurt him or his family just to gain something from him. And that he can only hope that his children will be as strong as him as they grow up in a loving but hostile environment, where even their own friends and family wants them dead. I just think that it would be in a constant battle with himself over this. Especially since it's expected of Kalim to have children at some point, to continue the family line.

Anyways hot take, I know, but still I'm constantly thinking about how technically fucked up Kalim's childhood was and he's just kinda expected to brush it off, even if it was severally emotionally damaging. And that he still has it in him to keep an optimistic outlook on life and how he's still willing to forgive those who wronged him. But that's a whole post on it's own that I will get to. At some point. Eventually.

Current mindset...

Opens notebook and checks what I have going on. “Okay, so I have one request for Sulu...” Gabriel appears, staring at me over the top on my laptop with puppy dog eyes.  “I have 5 challenges, hmmm, who’ve I got for those?”  Gabe sits up expectantly and Clint saunters into the room. “I’ve got 2 Gabe ones so stop looking at me like that.  Oh Barton I’ve got you here too.  A Steve and a Dean...”  Tony practically falls into the room,

“Em, Em, Em! Have you heard this song?  I think this song would make a really good fic for me don’t you think?”  I roll my eyes and try to ignore him. 

“I’ve got 10 celebration fics to write, okay so I’ve started a few but I really should...” 

 “LISTEN TO THIS SONG! IT’S PERFECT FOR ME!”  

“Tony, she is busy! Wait your turn! It’s not like she hasn’t just written two for you this weekend is it.”  I continue trying to ignore them but then Steve shows up and leans in the doorway.

“You need help with anything doll?”

“Thanks honey, I know I have to finish that series of yours and I will get onto it as soon as I finish this last part of Work For Free.”  Fili pops up by the side of my desk.

“Does that mean I’m getting a happy ending?” 

“Well that’s just rude, I was here first.” Gabe waggles his eyebrows and I sigh.

“You all know I write fluff so you all get a fluffy ending and... Gabriel... what are you doing?”  He is gyrating like one of the Magic Mike guys.  “I know I spoke to @deanxfuckingadorablexwinchester and @thewhiterabbit42 about that stripper series but look at all the stuff I have to write first.  I have like 5 different series ideas going on and...”

“Emma please just listen to this by the Goo Goo Dolls.”  Tony scrolls through the music on my phone as Steve sits down on the sofa and smiles that damned distracting smile of his. 

“Okay, Tony, I will add it to the 4 fics I’ve already got in my WIP file.  Now will you please just give me some space to...”

“But I want you to write me something.” 

“Stop whining Stark.  You don’t see anyone else...”

“She needs to write me something first.”

“Gabe you can’t just...”

“I think you boys will find she is working on a little something for me.”  Bones winks at me from the doorway and my head meets my desk.  

“Let’s do a breakdown shall we?” The boys all nod to varying degrees. “Right, I have 1 Sulu, 7 Gabe, 1 Steve, 2 Barton, 1 Dean who thankfully isn’t in here right now, 3 Bucky, 1 Tony, 2 McCoy, 1 Kirk, 1 Pietro, 1 Bard and 1 Loki. THEN I have Fili’s series to finish, Steve’s to finish, Tony I have one all planned out for you and another for Steve then an idea for one but I’m not sure who that one is for yet.  If we could just sort out a schedule then...”

“How come he gets 7!”

“1!?! I have 1!?!”

“Steve gets 2 series?  How is that even fair.” 

This is exactly why it is taking me so long to get anything done!!!  If you would like to send me inspiration to help me focus on just one character then please feel free because right now all they are doing is distracting me by arguing.

My cousin has a cancer at 14(means chemo and hair loss)

I have to find an University and complete multiple papers so they take me in

I have to pretend everything is right to my friends so they don't worry even more with their exams and shit

I have to pay for gas and for eating

I have to deal with a father who don't care about me
