I think my favorite thing about about Hamilton (besides the music ofc) is how physically affectionate Ham, Laurens, Lafayette and Mulligan are with eachother, always putting their arms around eachother, hugging, etc. and it’s all so obviously platonic (asides from Laurens and Ham but I think the people who see the sexual tension there are the ones who know about Ham and Laurens’ IRL letters) and lovely,

Like we see Angelica, Eliza and Peggy hugging and touching and kissing eachother on the cheek and stuff all the time, and that’s really lovely too, but usually you don’t see male friends being so physically affectionate, so I think it’s a real breath of fresh air to see it in Hamilton and how throughout the show it’s never implied that those 4 are more than friends, and it really normalizes male platonic physical affection which is really important imo.

(Also Mulligan grinding on and making kissy faces at Burr in The Story of Tonight Reprise is comedy gold.)
