The atmosphere felt dense, and cold with fog growing in intensity all around those who wandered the streets at such a late hour. The scent of rain on the horizon promised to clear the thick gray obscuring her vision, but it may not come quite soon enough. Things... lurked. Demons ventured the landscape invading the minds of weary travelers trying to find places to rest.
Temperance paused at a corner, her back falling to the wall for a moments rest. She had already killed several of the demons who tried to cross her with a mix of training from her past, and an instinct that had become well tuned to the dangers of demons nearby.
Red locks fall loose from the tie holding her hair back with amber eyes searching the fog for something --- Pistol drawn, she takes aim, and waits for the presence to appear. She could hear it.. It’s taunting from the blanket of fog around her.
“You can’t hurt us..” the demon growls, “Abomination..”
She didn’t know of her heritage, which made this situation all the more dangerous for her. They had been coming more frequently, and she had always known something wasn’t quite right.. But it was never this bad. “Piss off.” she retorts sharply, keeping the gun aimed carefully towards the voice.
