I know that Ruiniel would never, ever share details of her cousins’ pasts without their explicit permission, but it occurred to me that, in the time-travel ‘verse, if she really wanted to hurt Feanor…

She’d tell him the truth. Because it would slice deeper, be more devastating then anything she could possible do.

It took so long to answer this because I needed to be alone with it for a few days because its magnificent and exactly what she would do given permission and pushed far enough.

Because Ruiniel is vicious. She didn’t get to the top by just through her skills at thievery. No. She stole and blackmailed and murdered to make sure she had enough power so no one could ever hurt her again. She did whatever it took to become the thing in the night that others warn of and not be eaten by it.

And what she tells her grandfather is only a portion of the truth, only a portion of what they have endured and yet she uses this opportunity to strike a dagger into Feanor’s heart. 

This is what comes after, she seems to say, is it still worth it?

someone bought a pair of cheap fake brand boots, instead of a brand name on the tongue of said boots there was a patch talking about a Scorsese movie called Goncharov. There is no scorsese movie called that, but someone made a joke like "haha this person hasn't heard of goncharov", someone put real effort into making a good looking fake movie poster & now it's a meme/psyops agains cinephiles where we all make up fake facts & plot points
