my adhd has been so bad recently, i feel like the non-stimulant medication im on is so.ehow making it worse and i really eeally wanna tey being in vyvanse again like i was when i was younger, i have an appt this week and i just hope to god my doc will prescribe it i need that sweet sweet stimulant in my life my room is a mess and my life is a mess i need a boost 😪

Thinking about how in the early season we get so much of the events that shape Ilya - his relationship with his brother, the way his father speaks to him (and even of him), his loss for Russia in the Olympics, even his relationship with Sasha and Svetlana. But he's still so opaque, somehow, so closed off, we don't get or see why he goes after Shane or how he feels about it.

Meanwhile with Shane, for being a character that is autistic and emotes minimally, all we get are the feelings - his eagerness, his desire, his shame, his fear, his hurt, his anger, everything shows, so raw and cracked open always. But we get almost nothing of the events, of the rest of his life, just the hockey and ilya, hockey and ilya, hockey and ilya (I mean, what else is there really).
