Lying is second nature for Addhiamboh; truth be told, most of her life is a lie. lying her way into the nightmare court, lying about escaped prisoners and sabotaged supplies, lying about her involvement in most things, lying about her skills.

A good writer often makes a good liar, and Aaltje is both of those things. After all, who would guess that the unassuming scholar was also the author of some very infamous and saucy novels?

Kaikala is less so a liar, and more so an omitter of truths; her carefree nature puts others at ease, and information spills far easier in the presence of a lone hermit that doesn’t seem to care what you’re confessing. It’s these sort of traits that make a good Whispers Agent, or so her superiors say.

Nasira’s eyes are a warm gold, the colour of honey, a sunrise, of amber glistening in the sunlight. they are lively and warming, even as the years of stress running the inquisition darken the circles beneath her eyes.

Aaltje’s eyes are big, filled with curiosity and seemingly friendly, though the pure black colour leaves an air of mystery about her; something intriguing, that there is more to her than meets the eye. feint laughter lines hint at her age, and are quickly covered with eyeliner.

Maela’s eyes are a cold, piercing, calculating icy blue. contrasting against her dark skin, they are one of the only things she inherited from her father. their high angles only emphasise the pointedness of her gaze.
