The Famous Theme Song of Jaws

That’s how sharks were portrayed in the media. John Williams described this theme as “grinding away at you, just as a shark would do, instinctual, relentless, unstoppable.” And the two-note expression (dum-dum-dum-dum-dum-dum...) represents the approaching danger, and it was performed by tuba so that it sounds more threatening.
