Touhou Fanfiction: Aimless and Mystified Eastern Light

A plot-heavy longfic starring Reimu, Marisa, and a female OC.

Written with the intent of being something even non-lore fans of the series can enjoy.

Ties together PC-98 and Windows era lore, with an emphasis on worldbuilding and introducing newer fans to the general setting.

Currently ~133k words long as of this posting and still ongoing!

for those curious about where i get the ideas for my fight scenes in AaMEL, i literally just have a document that is just "random fight ideas" that i fill out with shit that comes to me and decipher into an actual fight later on.

these include such thrilling and nondescript notes as

something about my current touhou fanwork that i've been very intentional about and careful with is my oc's tendency to focus on little details, esp with how this version of gensokyo works.

it's subtle for now but i want anyone who reads it to pay attention to that aspect of her. notice how she treats and thinks of the world around her. it's a key trait that i put a lot of thought into, and i can't wait until i get to show off where that's going in the future.
