Hi, if you have seen the series, "Main Abdul Qadir Hoon," what did you think about it? If not I would recommend checking it out, it's really nice to see the character transition based on his experiences with the women in his life.

so i watched this drama almost a decade ago and remember that it was really popular (especially amongst the guys - considering the dramas was about a guy who wasn’t married and was a coming-of-age story. Also, the OST is a banger) and what essentially began Fahad Mustafa’s career.

Now that I look back, it has many problematic story lines that as an adult I am not okay with. The characters are very black/white. In the first 1/3 of the drama, Alishba Yousuf’s character is blatantly blamed for corrupting Abdul Qadir. In the next part, they show Aamina Sheikh’s character in black-face and has aids..where do I even being with the racism but moving on, Aamina Sheikh tells him to accept God and leave his alcoholic self behind(self evaluation and therapy are also effective tools). The last half is Abdul Qadir preaching to everyone that Islam is the only right path. Now, the drama belongs in the wtf category for me.

Kasautii has become my guilty pleasure and how. I started watching it after seeing a few screencaps and gifs on twitter for PreRish and now I’m hooked. All I have to say is, if you’ve watched any of the first season or this one, go check out today’s episode for KSG’s acting.

“Then die, Basu.” Probably my favourite comeback on ITV. I did not expect such a plot twist in a show like KZK where everything else is just sooo OTT and meh. Rishabh Bajaj as a character has changed the dynamics. His scenes with Prerna and his scene today with Anurag was quite something. Sinister, ruthless but also so so chilled out. Can’t wait to find out more about the character.

Also Aamina Sheikh as the new Komolika is very very interesting. Getting some of the 2000s actors in interesting roles is amazing!
