If prom had put him out of his element, this event was prom on steroids. Kristoff didn’t even listen to techno or electronic dance music on his own, let alone whatever they were playing at the rave; he was honestly a classics guy. Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong...Mostly because it was what he already knew, and he wasn’t much of an outgoing type. But Anna—this was everything she was about, crowds and music and energy. He wanted to share that with her, or at least keep an eye out for trouble as she partied her cares away.
Since the break-up of her engagement, she had all but moved-in with him at his cabin, initially coming to escape and indulge in the comforts of a friend at first. Slowly and surely enough though, more of Anna’s belongings had been appearing in his place, and there was no talk of her temporary visit ending any time soon: he definitely wouldn’t try to push her out the door. “You go ahead and dance. I’ll, uh...be right over here,” he said, waving Anna on toward the dance floor she seemed eager to get onto.
