When Hashirama got the news that Mito was pregnant, he was elated, of course. Then he was panicking.

"I don't know anything about raising children!" Hashirama cried out, busting into Tobirama's lab.

"What do you mean, Anija, you practically raised me."

"And look how you turned out!"

"What does that mean!?" Tobirama asked, elbow deep in a corpse.

I can’t remember if it was mentioned in the anime/manga but I can imagine Hashirama and Mito’s marriage being arranged. This is my take on their first meeting.

Random plot:

Basically The little mermaid, but Hashirama is Ariel and Tobirama is a good Ursula (lol), still making suspicious potions and babysitting his brother.

Hashirama is obsessed with humans, sneaks to the surface, and somehow befriends Madara, a pirate. Tobirama finds out (ofc), but instead of stopping it, he startes making shady deals with Madara (exchange sea antiques for info and humans junks?).

On a sunny day, while waiting for Madara as usual, Hashirama sees Mito, a loner on a luxurious ship. They talk for awhile, and he falls hard for her. Sadly, both his brother and best friend against this idea.

So naturally, he steals Tobirama’s potions and runs away.

Now Tobirama (angry) and Madara (lowkey entertained) have to drag him back before he exposes mermaids to the world or kills them all.
