Am watching TOG while folding laundry and I decided it’s a good day to talk about Joe and Nicky on the train. I love that they are like. We’re compromised. Andy is seriously angry. Booker is depressed by being alone. Everything is fucked. Is this a good time for snuggles? Yup. Yup it is. Like it also doesn’t matter when they sleep in Paris - everyone is in the same room and they’re all snuggled up (on the only bed) with zero regard and I love that confidence, that surety, in themselves that there is no embarrassment or changing themselves for their friends - AAnon

yeAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!! i love the snuggles, and i love how no one comments on it or looks at it even twice (local woman made the mistake of looking at youtube comments the other day and some Dude on one of the tog cast interview videos commented that he turned off tOG when he saw the train scene bc he didnt like... virtue signaling and gay characters shoved his face or something, i dont remember the exact wording. but its like UHHHHHHH how could they have made joe&nicky being in a relationship any less subtle and natural in that moment? king wouldve died on the spot during the van scene)

BUT anyways i also love the little assembled bed on the train? like theyre on a palette or something and have that backpack as a pillow, while andy and book are just sprawled against the wall. i would LOVE to know who put that together, it reeks of nicky but i could see joe doing it too

Joule and or Buffy?

Joule

How I feel about this character: i like her, shes funky :D

All the people I ship romantically with this character: i dont ship much, but her and Volta is nice. That and the electric polycule, thats a good one too.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: also the polycule for this, but plantonic style. And jokingly with my oc EV, since both are considered firebugs.

My unpopular opinion about this character: look i like Joule as much as the next person, but the cones are kinda uncomfortable to draw. Both because of how it looks, and its awkward in design. She's also one of the few who don't have the belt and its a little off putting.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: please let them get rid of the cones

Buffy

How I feel about this character: shes my 2nd favorite coach. 1st favorites going to Dinah and Belle (sleeper)

All the people I ship romantically with this character: again, not much a shipper, but def with Ashley

My non-romantic OTP for this character: the other coaches, Dustin

My unpopular opinion about this character: none, I love buffy, they had no reason to replace her.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: ok so despite the show already being mostly men, and them trying to balance that out with Momma and Coco and such (despite also changing Volta so??). I do think it would've been good to have a guy coach. And out of all of them, i think buffy would've been the best choice for it. For varying reasons, but also because they don't have the guts to make it Pearl.

So who cries first when Virgil (or either of the twins) introduce their kids (your OC’s) to them for the first time or announces their having kids? Mama Janus, Papa Patton, or Mama Lo?

I feel like Patton would be just super bouncy with happiness, Logan would be tearing up but trying to keep composure, and Janus would just be full on crying and hugging everyone.

I actually have a headcanon for all he kid’s introductions that’s “canon” to the story A Very Sanders Group Chat.

Virgil

Virgil had Castor, Pollux, and Sirius while he was a dark side. Halley too, and Orion right after he introduced himself to the light sides (at 16). Though the light sides knew about Castor, Pollux, Sirius, and Halley’s existence, they (other than Roman who visited Remus frequently during the teenage years) didn’t quite meet them all at once either.

Halley was the first to get introduced because her and Vita spend time together a lot even as kids so Roman accidentally introduced her as Virgil’s daughter when Logan and Patton inevitably asked (when Halley was 4).

The triplets were met all at once by everyone when they were 5. Virgil introduced them to Patton and Logan after he got them home from school. Orion’s existence was actually a secret to everyone but his teachers until he was 11 in 2016 when Roman made the Mind Palace and their rooms all moved there and the other sides questioned Orion’s door and Virgil realized he’d never told them about his youngest son (he thought they knew).

Regardless to say, Orion’s reveal was the most emotional because Patton decided he needed to lavish him in love and affection for not knowing for so long.

Roman

Unlike Virgil letting people know when he was pregnant, Roman hid away in the Imagination and simply didn’t tell anyone until Vita’s 5th birthday so he effectively did everything alone for the first 5 years of Vita’s life and his pregnancy.

Janus

Janus’ pregnancy wasn’t exactly a secret but the light sides and was a team effort with the dark sides and figments (they have the ‘it takes a village’ mentality in the dark side with children) Roman didn’t find out until Belladonna was 5 and then the other light sides found out when Belladonna was 11 in early 2014 as a slip of the tongue from Virgil and Roman but they didn’t meet her until she was 14 in 2017 when Janus was introduced.

I’d say, roundabout, Patton’s usually the one crying when he finds out.

ok so I'm gonna do this in steps kinda?

1. Make your theme and bio. This might seem unnecessary, but people don't usually follow blogs that don't have a layout. It doesn't have to be super pretty, but it should have an icon + some facts about u in the bio.

2. Make your navigation + the posts you'll link there. This means masterlist, requesting rules, about me etc. Obviously you choose what you want to have there yourself. It might be a good idea to pin your navigation or have it in your bio.

3. Reblog posts and interact with others. This is important. Don't start writing at once, not before you know people. Follow other writing blogs, reblog their works and send them asks. Maybe ask for a shout-out?

4. Start writing. You probably haven't gotten any requests yet, so you'll have to write your first piece on your own. You can browse through writing prompts to help you get started or just find up an idea on your own. What you write is up to you.

5. Make sure to tag your posts properly. Use from 5 to 20 tags that apply to the content. Don't tag #ron weasley if it's a Draco Malfoy fic. You can look at some of my writing for example to see what tags are relevant. This helps your posts to get seen by more people. Remember: put the most important tags first.

6. Remember that this is your blog and nobody else's. You don't have to write very request or listen to every comment. This is a safe space for you to be yourself. Embrace it and make your blog a place you want to be.
