This video is from 2019 but is so relevant to the anti-Asian rhetoric that exists in our country. It was recently brought to my attention by a well-written high school newspaper article. The woman is speaking in Brooklyn before the Committee on NYC Education about Equity, Diversity and High School Admissions. In it, she animatedly testified that Asians come from a culture of pervasive and inherent cheating of which she has proof from the internet. The spread of these kind of harmful lies is what contributes to discrimination against the AAPI community.
