Someone on Twitter tagged me because they like a fic I write and we are chatting and they made a doodle and I’m dying this is the best and like it’s been so long since I’ve had a fandom interaction and I kind of was loosing my interest in working on my fics since everything seemed dead but now I’m on cloud 9 and I had to share this

I have two more scenes left to write and then I’m down with my WIP
I am feeling EMOTIONAL
(but then I get to work on some of my unpublished WIPs that I am very excited to share)
God I just have to share this because I didn’t know people liked my fic so much when I was a kid writing it and stuff like this makes me so happy I went back after years and finished it and like I was getting in my head about how maybe I don’t need to make and share things and this has made my month oh my gosh
Someone messaged me on twitter saying they found typos in my fic and will send them to me if I want
Catch me out here spelling things correctly soon fuck yeah
The strange experience I have writing fanfic is the sheer amount of people who message me saying “I absolutely hate this pairing but love this fic and will be reading it all”
It’s a huge compliment but raises so many questions because I feel like I follow the general pairing tropes and don’t see the difference? And then I’m like wait is someone recommending my stuff to friends who typically avoid these pairings?
I’m so proud but it’s an odd trend that has been super common
