Love to Hate and Hate to Love || Raven and Jessica
The young girl had dyed pinkish-purple hair, a strong contrast to dark brown eyes, and slightly tanned skin. Her thin form was hidden by a slouched posture as she walked through the city, returning from school. The girl, perhaps fifteen or sixteen, paused at a street corner when she heard a noise from the nearby alley. She turned, peering down the walled-in street, to see two figures struggling. She paused for a moment. It was no use. Moments later, the teenager was walking quickly down the alleyway, yelling out, and as she grew closer, she could easily make out that one of the figures was a young woman, but she was being overpowered, quite easily, by a man, who, beyond being tall, and around middle aged, she couldn't much make out. The woman was screaming.
The teenager shouted out, and dove out the man, knocking him to the ground, and giving the woman time enough to run off. On top of the man, the girl began to struggle, and attempted to move off, when she felt a sudden needle prick in her in the back of her neck. She felt herself flipped over, and suddenly, the man was on top of her, grinning. "What's your name?" he asked. "Jessica," she felt herself answer, though she could hardly feel herself making the decision to speak. The man's grin grew. "Jessica. What do you say I take you home with me, Jessica?" She wanted to struggle, but instead, she felt herself nod, and then there was black.
Jessica woke screaming. "No! Don't . . ." She burst out of bed, sitting up with a start as the scream tapered out. She looked around frantically, but he wasn't there. He wasn't there. She had escaped, and she would never be his again. She shivered, and drew up the covers, before remembering she had a new roommate. Raven. The other girl had seemed nice enough when she'd talked to her before, but still, Jessica preferred not have anyone see her like this. She turned her head to see if she'd woken her roommate, wincing in anticipation.
