she was grateful for many things and spray tanning was surely one of them. she would otherwise look like a ghost, considering that she usually forgot there’s a whole world outside of her office. but today was her day off and she was going to enjoy it at its fullest. and nothing said relaxation more than sun bathing by the pool, so she turned off her phone, put her swimsuit on and went outside. she was about to go to the bar and grab something to drink but she noticed aarne standing by the pool and walked in his direction instead. “ good morning, mind if i join you? arms are folded and hands clutch tightly onto the flesh of her arms where they rest. she had always found aarne amusing — liked him even. there was once a time she’d dared enjoy the prospect of him maybe becoming family. what she can’t understand is how he and anneli hadn’t considered every eventuality before starting down this path. ❛  i don’t want this any more than you do aarne. but russia will not allow this to continue any longer. lyosha waited long enough.  ❜    //.  @aarnc
