So, on Friday night my favourite band came to my hometown for the first time ever, and thank god I am 18 so I was able to get tickets! The Getaway Plan absolutely amaze me every time I see them live, this was the 7th time and the best show I've seen to date. Not only was the set list pure bliss but the four guys stayed at the pub after their load-out and chatted and drank with me as if I was an old friend. We talked about music and their previous recordings and how their tour was going and they actually thanked me for being such a big fan. My heroes boosted my respect for them tenfold just by appreciating the fact that I existed but then to include me in actual, meaningful conversations was just indescribable. 10 year old Conner would be very proud of me!

The Getaway Plan is perfection.

Matt's voice is like a gift from the heavens, Clint's guitar work is unreal, Aaron's drumming is brilliant and Dave's bass playing is so great.
