I had to tell someone I follow not to ship Mitzi with Chuck E. Granted it's the Avenger and Rockstar versions, but it still feels icky given previous versions of Chuck are adults. However, they seem to genuinely be unaware of Mitzi's history and the problematic writing Aaron Fetcher did with certain showtapes, so I decided to tell them about it. Honestly, I like Mitzi as a character, but Aaron was super gross with some of the things he wrote [the My Boyfriend's Back 90s remake, the Mitzi's Choice showtape, even the fatshaming regarding her redesign back when the Rockafire were changed from their beta designs]. Aaron's questionable writing choices, as well as some Rockafire fans constantly bashing on CEC [PTT Chuck is even being turned into a villian in some Rockafire fanfics], are the biggest reasons I heavily dislike the Rockafire Explosion [though I do like Dook, Choo-Choo, and Mitzi as characters].

It's hard being a Mitzi fan, at least if you're looking at official stuff. She is canonically a girl coming of age, and yet Aaron was still weird with her. And while I know she's canonically an adult now, it still feels weird how she's handled.

Also, don't demonize the Big C, y'all! The worst thing about him is that he's a jerk!

I do like that the fandom has mostly progressed a lot (because I know this shit was a lot worse in the 2010s) and Mitzi is just allowed to exist without needing to be shipped with anyone.

But yeah, certain RAE fans are annoying af about CEC. In fact, they look down on any animatronic fun center that isn't related to the RAE.

my view on nicky is it's cool to like him but you can't ignore that book 1 existed. aaron is kinda the opposite for me in that if the bad stuff wasn't there I could like him, but as it stands he is entirely unforgiveable

I actually have so many post-tfc feels about Aaron though like honestly he's literal trash in the actual series but he grew up in a homophobic, abusive environment and didn't try to learn better because he probably didn't want to upset his mom but his character has so much growth potential, especially with him attending therapy sessions and being surrounded by less toxicity

yeaaaaa this is true, but also nora said that like,he never gets better in that aspect like hes awful to the foxes bc he sees himself in them and nora said he only like, gets better at accepting he actually cares abt them but she didnt mention anything abt homophobia IDK like. objectively he has a lot of material for char develop i agree but still like i just Hate him so much i think hes the only character in tfc i cant be objective abt (save like. nathan and lola and co)
