I could write an inspiration quote or something I've read from a yoga/ meditation/ self help/ book ( yes I've read lots of them) but the reality is I love yoga for the clarity it provides. It's the only thing that has helped me be in my body. Out of my mind. Has kept me open. sealed wounds ... and yes kept me fit. So I'm going to #namaste to that. 📸 @aaronfarb -From her and Aaron’s instagram: olesyarulin & aaronfarb
Powers 1.6
GregAlan Williams. Change of pace from previous episodes. This is slow, character-driven and story arc-driven.
Best scene: the warning of “Black Swan” from TripHammer. Successfully ominous.
Royalle didn’t have a lot to do in this episode, but what he did have to do was interesting. He continues to be a main reason to watch.
Walker didn’t do anything in this episode, but we got a further insight into his psyche and his desire to get his powers back.
Scene after scene did a great job of world building. There are some things this show does really, really well. And the creation of this fully-formed world super-powered people is one of them.
Lot of screentime this week for Calista and Krispin. Very keen to see where this is all going.
Best character this week: Pilgrim . Her dad was a much better character than I first realised and she got to take Walker down with a no-punches-pulled speech. Nice.
9/10
Listen up, me and my partner--
