‘Panthor’ by Aaron Manczyk
This here is ‘Panthor’ by Aaron Manczyk. This is a honest and accurate portrayal of prison life, caste systems, and the growing trend of hiring privatized armies. Panthor is a mercenary who has been held prisoner and needs to get out. He is a very passionate man and does not deserve to be chained. His needs are simple but the powers that be feel threatened by him and keep him prisoner. Panthor must be free.
The warden of the prison is a good warden. He runs a tight ship, he keeps his prison clean. He keeps that certain distance one must from both his prisoners and employees in order to maintain that air of authority that is required in such an extremely volatile environment. His wage isn’t enough, he needs more than his meager salary to keep his family fed.
Panthor does what any desperate man would, attempts escape. He can’t be blamed, he is a man in chains. No matter our situation, none of us want to be demeaned or held sway by our captors.
