Hey everyone! Fun new game! Name one (hopefully good) adult cartoon that isn’t made by a white man, that isn’t the boondocks (we love the political comics king Aaron McGruder here). Then look up the statistics for minorities at adult swim and other major adult cartoon studios. Next! Look at all the horrible tweets and comments by said studios on these issues such as “when there’s a woman in the writings room it’ll always just lead to conflict, not comedy” and finally, raise your hand if you know a queer person or person of color who is currently working in the industry and is super amazing and talanted BUT FOR SOME REASON, isn’t given a chance to write, direct, be leads on their own shows...
