Heavy Cuckold, ntr
Jin Ho smiled as he looked at his test results, and the doctor said that his vision had recovered, so he wouldn’t have to come back anymore. He had lost his vision two years ago and had resigned from the CEO position of the company, handing it over to Irene, who, in his stead, had looked after the company with his Step sister, who was his only family left in the world. Both of them are looking after him. He was grateful to both of them for not abandoning him after he went blind.

Rewatching Beyond the Bar
Hyo-min notices his smell in the 1st ep. It’s one of the 1st things Hyo-min noticed.
Update: Beyond the Bar … an Argument for Romance
I've seen a lot of discourse online saying that the drama is not listed as a romance and there is no indication that the relationship between the main leads will move beyond purely just a mentor/mentee relationship. I will say that when the show was introduced, it was advertised as a mentor/mentee law drama. I would have been happy with just that, but then I watched the show. After the 1st episode I was on the fence, I though I was seeing things. But then the 3rd episode dropped and it confirmed to me that I was not in fact imagining things. I started rewatching the episodes while I waited for the new episode dropping each week and then I picked up on signs that I missed in the 1st two episodes upon 1st watch I've complied a thread of what I believe to be the flashing neon signs that a slow burn romance is being set up.
Episode 1
The first thing that really stands out to me was this. I didn't catch it the 1st watch out I picked it up on the second watch. Both our main leads Kang Hyo-Min (HM) and Yoon Seok-Hoon (SH) understand litigation the same way. Both SH and HM describe litigation as a “last resort” in love to their clients. This happens in separate instances, but the sentiment is repeated to the same person. Obviously this isn’t overtly pointing to a future romance, but it’s establishing that while their approach and outward presentation may seem opposing, at their core they see things the same way and hold the same values. This compatibility is a prefect foundational block for any intimate relationship. Even if it just stops at a mentee/mentor relationship and there is no romance. That scene in his office is where they saw eye to eye for the first time. Where the connection starts. Another thing that I missed in my 1st watch was that HM notices SH's scent for the 1st time in episode one (I initially though she noticed it in episode 3). It’s one of the first things she vocalises about him. She says “men don’t usually smell this way”. While this might be a passing comment on what she’s noticed about a coworker, she’s doesn’t vocalise the same observations about anyone else. He stands out to her. Feels like the writers are making a point to note that she’s noticed him in a way that’s different to her other coworkers. Episode 2
If the writers weren't clear with the title, the director definitely made a point when showing us the various relationships in this episode and focusing on the colour of their tea. In the voice over HM likens love to a tea, you are unsure how strong it is till it's tested with hot water, and that proves to be true in the story telling this episode. In this episode there are three relationships being examined.
Gi-Beom (This week's client) & Ye-Rim
While this doesn’t directly apply to our main couple their tea is used as a exemplary reference for what tea and in this narrative what love should be. The tea is daaaark….when they go in to depose Gm we are shown very clearly his tea. They also make a point to show us and focus on GB and YR’s tea cup when they meet after the accident. It’s dark and strong just like GB’s love for YR. GB even mentions the Black tea because he spent time looking for a place they could meet again that YR would like. They are a prefect example for what love should be. Seong-Chan & Hyo-Min
The love and tea of GB and YR is a direct contrast to douche canoe attorney's (Seong-chan) tea when he proposes to HM. We see that the tea is weak, almost clear in some shots. Just like his love was superficial and shallow, so was the teas Hyo-Min & Seok-Hoon
Then you have the tea shared by SH and HM. It’s not as strong and GB and YR's tea but it’s darker than the tea she had with SC. They also make a point to show us this. Also they’re showing us this while explaining how SH feels he would love his partner. SH complements HM, for the 1st time (without prompting) verbalising that’s she did a great job and the camera pans to their now dark tea. If that isn’t allusion I don’t know what is. * Also sidebar I do love that in this episode HM stands up to SH, showing that despite the power imbalance at work, she is still on equal footing with him.
On the 3rd of July, fourteen years ago, T-ara released their fourth Mini-Album, DAY BY DAY.
Day by Day showcases T-ara's signature blend of dramatic dance-pop, synth-pop, and emotional ballads, featuring the hit title track and songs like "Don't Leave." The mini-album is notable for its cinematic, post-apocalyptic concept and marked both the debut of Areum and the final release featuring Hwayoung, making it one of the group's most memorable and transitional releases.
