Honestly this made me a chuckle a little bit because it is rare that I see a living soul in here. I always wondered how many people actually go in the box to actually think during the course of the day, especially when the library gets kind hectic between 12-3pm! Kind of makes it hard to study when millions of conversations are going on and you can’t hear yourself think. So is it really think tank or a jukebox with the convos of hundreds of colleges students going on?
This picture is funny to me because many people do not care about this rule in the library, I know for a fact I don't lol. The reason for this occurrence is because usually the signs that forbid eating in places are placed around establishments at a more frequent rate. With that being said, once you give people the authority to eat in any establishment most of the time they abuse the authority at hand because they have already received the inch so why not take the yard.

But as she is delivering her poem to the classroom she is very adamant, yet comical at the same time as the crowd begins to join in with their laughs. I was first was shown this video in my Communication Studies class and after it was finished I had so much more appreciation for slam poetry as this incited me to start writing my own poetry. But if I had to choose the sub genre of this I would have to say is verbal/expressive comedy.
This is my favorite TV series of all time, I still try and watch it everyday! And I’m sorry If comedy is the topic The Fresh Prince has to be considered in the conversation. In the picture will is talking smack to Carlton because of his lack of knowledge when it comes to knowing the Hip Hop artists and other black cultural icons. Carlton has been conditioned into a preppy, spoiled, intellectual that wants to go to Princeton and live Uncle Phil’s retirement fund for the rest of his life lol. But the reason the picture is so funny is because, hell Tupac Shakur could pass for the Jewish holiday Yom Kippur. The type of humor we have here is verbal bashing humor.

Let’s just say the beat is so catchy and rich that all you think about how much Drake killed Meek on this song. The melody is smooth and it brings life to almost any atmosphere because whether you know it or not a majority of Drake lyrics end up being world wide memes. Since we are speaking about memes, Meek is reportedly suing Drake for using comical memes of Meek on the big screen during the OVO Fest and what's even more ironic is that he wore a “Free Meek” shirt which had Meek and his old cornrows on the front lol. https://youtu.be/mMexNNiCSJc (Meek Mill I wanna Know)On the opposing side, this excuse for a diss track was the response to Drake’s “Back to Back”. The social media world waited endlessly for it hoping it was going to make some noise. We Meek fans had so much confidence in him as we anticipated for the track to be released. But to our surprise the track was a disgrace and Meek is still receiving flack for it due to the lack of bars and actually punchlines. On top of that, Meek has been sued for this beat because it was taken from the wrestler, The Undertaker’s theme song.

This second video right here is another humorous type of guy who happens to be from Philly as well and is often known for his vine posts. He goes by Fresh 215 and he focuses for on in your face, making fun of anybody, verbal humor. Or in Philly we like to say, “Grind time”lol. He has attracted a lot of followers, especially other vine famous comics like Dc Young Fly who is now on Nick Cannon’s show Wild N’ Out and Kevin Hart. I first seen one his videos in this group text I am in with my friends. This video was amusing to me because Fresh was “Grinding” Dc Young Fly up and when it comes to “Grinding” you have to be on top of your game at all times. Fresh for now is an amateur who is trying to be an aspiring rapper. He is not too bad at rapping if I say so myself because the song he just made with my friend is so nice! I did not even know he rapped until my friend showed me it.

This piece right here was chosen because the main character Tyrone has become a global icon for the most part through all of his pranks, and he happens to be from my hometown of Philly! Tyrone tends to go around bullying people with a comical sense on physical humor. Tyrone is always on the prowl and is always trying to holla at somebody’s wife lol! I first came across one of Tyrone’s videos through facebook and immediately it had me dying hysterically while I was at work. Moreover, Tyrone’s comedic work started on a lower scale through the streets of Philly just trying to make a name for himself by saying off the wall gestures that can make your blood pressure soar!
