I see that previous anon about the on moment and raise it to angst level. If the whole school bus incident involves Christopher. Buck crying and holding Christopher tight, trying not to have a panic attack at the thought of loosing Chris again. That to me would be the top tier “oh” realization because this time Eddie sees just what Buck would do to save his son.

I really feel like Eddie is/would be the one all babies love. He had no idea what to do at first but he’s grown into fatherhood and he just emits that calm/safe/ security feeling that all babies/ toddlers/ kids need like he’s the first one to get any new foster child Hen and Karen are taking care of to come out of there shell and one day Jee-Yun just reaches for him and Eddie takes her from Maddie or Chimney, she’s cuddled up enjoying the attention and even Buck can’t be upset because it’s Eddie and he does give the best cuddles around.

kids absolutely love eddie bc everything abt him screams "great dad" and "I'm a safe person" and they flock to him. we all have the person/relative we confide in when we feel we can't go to our parents, and I think eddie is probably that person for some of the firefam kids. he's calm, and safe, and he's not your parents so he can't ground you, but he's gonna make sure you feel safe and loved and give you advice. he's like bobby in that way, except more in an uncle kind of way. and he always, always, encourages them to talk to their parents bc he knows they'll be upset, but he also knows that chimney and maddie and hen and Karen absolutely love their kids and just want to keep them safe and healthy. buck thinks it's very sweet (an extremely attractive), especially bc someone like that would have been extremely helpful when he was a kid (albeit for different reasons such as his parents not loving him, but still).

I just literally had this thought yesterday at work in clinic with our waiting room playing The BodyGuard that there needs to be a Buddie version. Well my evening is booked for sure, my gratitude to you and MistMarauder

....... So.... Don't hate me but I've never actually seen that movie. I KNOW! I KNOW! It's one of the greats and somehow I know that it had something to do with the sister! I'll watch it eventually!
