The air was crisp as cops were huddled and talking over to other witnesses of the crime. From what was meant to be an easy Friday night turned into theft and break in at the library. What could they steal? A stack of paper back books? It baffled Jay and he wanted to laugh but at the same time this was someone that could have motive for something bigger. Maybe it wasn’t something but someone they were after. So Jay went to the librarian for further questions. Stepping up with his steel toe boots on as they clicked against the floor, Jacob gave a pleasant smile to his greeting. “Mr. Thorne? If I can ask a couple of questions from you.”
The man was tall and more so had a familiar face. The more he studied the man, the better off he was looking. Aaron wasn’t too bad to look at but Jay was here due to a break in, not for a blind date. “Have you had any troubled employees lately? Someone you may have fired and do you secure this place with cameras?” The questions filed in as he spoke to the other.
Another second passed as he caught a glimpse and finally he released, he lived in the same apartment complex as the librarian. But he wasn’t going to mention it now. At least until after his questioning he would bring it up to lighten the mood.
