Work for upliftment of the poor

For a brighter tomorrow, a vision for tomorrow is necessary. One needs to on his part play his part of identifying the problem areas and working towards its betterment. Take children out from the streets and stop them from begging, instead place them in schools, teach them about the very benefits of education, help them to become self-reliant and a productive member of the society.

 Aashray a Ngo based on the same purpose is working towards education of these deprived classes, help enrolling them into schools, complete their primary basic education , develop skills, be more productive and stop the social evil of begging and a future where it is en-rooted completely. They work and help these children to grow in the right direction and improve the overall sociology-economic conditions of these underprivileged classes.

People coming together, volunteers, towards this cause and organize various events for the purpose of making people aware of this current situation indirectly helps the overall cause. Educate poor children in India is the solution for permanently erasing poverty and bringing up the deprived section. Knowledge and awareness is the key, working towards the same goal is what helps in bringing a change in the society.

Giving the poor class their very freedom of education is what one focuses one, it is the best way to uplift this section. Education is the answer to illiteracy, unawareness and suppression. For one to be aware of his basic fundamental rights and not to be cheated, he must be first be educated enough to understand the papers and the written or oral facts before he commits to one.

Humanity towards the poor

Be a human first. Before being a muslim, hindu, sikh or christian, one is born as a human. Our birth brings us with responsibilities towards other beings and the surroundings we live in. We play our roles of contribution towards the soceity and to even a bigger cause i.e humanity.

As part of this humanity, we pay alms towards the poor section of the soceity and help them come up from the social evils we face from our day to day lives. Evils like child abuse, sexual abuse, child labour, unducation, poverty and female foeticide are all that needs to be dealt with.

Many people come up and participate actively in various support groups and volunteer themselves towards the elimination of poverty in the nation. Understanding the need of the hour we must take out times from our busy lives and work for various NGOs for the poor children that have been established and work towards their upliftment and progress.

Supporting their education as well as health and diet, these NGOs play a major role in over all economic development of the nation and promoting education especially among the youth of the nation.

It is not only a contribution from our ends but our soul duty to work for the cause and help the weaker section of the soceity in their performances and promotion.

Help them in education!

Through following few ways one can play their part in helping the backward class get education and bring overall betterment in the society.

1.       Tuition classes to poor children:

Providing free classes to the children helping them gain basic education and develop the skills to communicate and write. Helping them matching up to the overall awareness is a necessity. Social evils like child labour, child abuse, illiteracy.

2.       Awareness programs:

Various awareness programs like health and social awareness programs must be organized to make them aware about their surroundings and cleanliness and the importance of overall well being.

3.       Skill development programs:

Various skill development programs like dance, stitching, candle lighting etc. must be organized so that they are taught of various extra activities that will help them develop their habits of working also giving them the required skills in various fields.

4.       Free primary education:

Providing free access to schools, giving them basic primary education is very necessary to help these weaker classes. Also the initiative that the government is currently providing of mid-day meals is a very essential step to help them gain education.

5.       Easy availability of books and notebooks:

It would be a great effort on our part if we support their education. We can give them our old used books, notebooks we didn’t use, or even pens that go unused into dustbins.

6.       Improved efforts on part of teachers:

With the part and the role that the teachers play in a student’s life, we really need teachers who contribute their best towards getting them educated and be the aware citizens.

A Responsible Citizen

With an alarming number of children out-of-school in India estimated to be 8.15 million by the MHRD government of India it is a matter of great concern and a situation to stand up towards promoting Child Development in India. To have a secured future and a balanced economic growth one needs to promote and work towards child growth and education. A special focus towards the weak class and the under-privileged section of young generation is necessary. Helping children against various social evils of child labour, child abuse, uneducation, poverty, mal-nutrition, etc is a responsibility of all the citizens to work towards child development. To help these children be aware, literate and empowered Asshray an NGO is playing its part in helping by enrolling them for basic education, develop their skills by organizing various developmental activities and also events for social awareness of the prevailing condition of the street kids. Various volunteers from different backgrounds come together to contribute and work for the cause. With the basic aim towards promoting the weaker section Asshray is an NGO that helps in protecting and improving the quality of life of these children.

Be it a girl child, a beggar, differently abled child, an HIV kid or a child below poverty line, these are sections that are in dire need of attention and working and promoting child development is not only important on part of the Government but also the responsibility of us as citizens of India.

Awareness

To start a ngo and to be the best to serve others the core aspect is awareness. The more you work for the purpose and gain the maximum attention of the public. May it be working for the older section or the weaker section, teaching the youth or helping the street beggars. One must take up specific cause and work for it, contribute towards its improvement. Make people aware of the existing conditions and ways to help the section and what all your NGO is doing for the cause.

  Be clear with your vision and missions
